Buddhalocana Cabin

Buddhalocana is one of the original farm buildings, converted into a two-bedroom cottage with a covered porch in the front. The cottage is on high ground overlooking Dragon Lake and there are meadows that are resplendent with wildflowers from May to September.

It has a three-quarter bathroom with a clawfoot tub, a propane stove with an oven, and a standard refrigerator. The cottage can be heated with the wood stove or electric baseboard heating. Inside the vestibule is a large walk-in woodshed. The large bedroom has a queen-size bed and there is a single bed in the main shrine room. Buddhalocana can be used as a solitary retreat cabin or as a retreat cabin for couples.

Pricing

The cabin is $50 per night for the first 4 nights then $45 per night every night after that for solitary retreats. If booked for a couple it is $65 per night for the first 4 nights then $60 per night every night after that. Wood is $3 per day and the electric baseboard heat is $15 per day. You can choose to use one or the other or use both.
